    Individual Counselling for Teens

Being a teenager today can feel overwhelming. Between school pressures, friendships, family expectations, and social media, many teens experience anxiety, overthinking, and emotions that feel “too big” to handle alone.

    I support teens with:

    Anxiety and stress management
    Overthinking and perfectionism
    Self-esteem and confidence
Navigating friendships, relationships, and family challenges
Coping with overwhelming or confusing emotions

In our sessions, we primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a proven approach that helps teens understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Together, we’ll build practical skills to manage anxious thoughts, calm the nervous system, and feel more confident navigating daily life. My approach is warm, validating, and collaborative. Teens leave our sessions not only feeling understood, but also equipped with tools they can use right away.

    Individual Counselling for Young Adults

Young adulthood often comes with uncertainty and change. You may be managing school, work, relationships, or big decisions about the future — all while feeling pressure to “have it all figured out.” This can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed.

I work with young adults who want to:

Manage anxiety, worry, stress, overwhelm, and overthinking
    Build self-confidence and resilience
    Improve relationships
Navigate life transitions (school, career, independence)
Find clarity in their goals and direction

In our sessions, we’ll use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based tools to explore unhelpful thought patterns, manage anxious feelings, and develop strategies for moving forward with more confidence and calm. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can explore challenges without judgment, and leave each session with practical strategies to create meaningful change in your everyday life.

    Parent/Caregiver Support and Coaching

When a child or teen is struggling with their mental health, parents often feel helpless or unsure how to support them. The truth is: you don’t have to do this alone — and you play an essential role in your child’s healing. I offer parent and caregiver coaching based on Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), a therapeutic approach rooted in a deep and unwavering belief in the healing power of families.

    Together, we’ll focus on:

Learning how to respond to your child’s big emotions (like worry, hopelessness, or anger) in ways that foster connection and healing.

Building practical skills for addressing unhelpful behaviours while maintaining empathy and understanding.

Strengthening your relationship with your child through emotional support and connection.

Caring for yourself as you care for your child, so you feel supported and show up with calm, confidence and compassion.

My goal is that you will leave sessions with practical strategies you can begin using right away, and with greater confidence and hope in your ability to support your child.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia, I follow strict professional and ethical guidelines to protect your privacy.
